So today is my birthday, and i don't want it to be. Getting older is something that im not too excited for. I think back to my childhood when 'older' people used to say to me how they missed being a kid, when there were no worries. I couldn't understand it then, because i had no concept of what it was to NOT be a youngster. Now that i ha\/e grown up (granted, im not really THAT old) but i can finally comprehend what it truly means to enjoy your childhood... sad that we can only understand the meaning of things after it's too late....

On a secondary note, i wish i had some friends from my past to party with, being surrounded by 50+ folks makes me not only feel more mature than i really am, but more mature than i e\/er want to be... not to mention they are ready to sleep at 11pm... that's when the party just gets started! C'est la \/ie.

Either way, im enjoying my time in mexico, getting some good photographs, a nice tan, and a reputation as a drunk (if that wasn't a prerequisite to coming here). Kidding!..... my tan isn't THAT nice . Anyway, life is confusing, and will continue to be so, especially since i think so much.... and i think now it's time for another pina colada (ahh, the addiction is coming back!)
